Sales & Digital Marketing Assistant

Sinclair Communications is seeking an adaptive and detail-oriented Sales & Digital Marketing Assistant to support our dynamic sales team. This essential role involves working across departments to manage administrative tasks and contribute to creative, digital, and project-based initiatives — including social media coordination, graphic design, and website maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Administrative Support:
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Sales Managers and Account Executives
    • Assist Account Executives with client correspondence, proposal creation, sales recaps, order tracking, and proofing contracts
    • Prepare and customize sales materials, including media kits, sales packages, and presentations
    • Maintain the organization of shared sales folders, ensuring all materials are up-to-date across digital drives and in-office files
    • Coordinate all material and logistical preparations for sales meetings, including PowerPoint creation, agenda setting, and catering arrangements
    • Assist the promotions team with the design and production of marketing materials
    • Provide general support to the office and assist with projects as directed by the sales managers
  • Digital & Social Media Support:
    • Assist with the creation and posting of client ads on social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram
    • Manage and update client content, promotions, and calendars on all station websites
    • Support basic website digital sales traffic management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with creating and managing social media ads and content
  • Basic knowledge of website traffic tools, CMS platforms, and digital content management is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems in a timely, professional manner
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
