Lockwood Broadcast Group is looking for an experienced Account Executive to manage and grow transactional business as well as focus on prospecting and closing new business for WSKY-TV & Lockwood Digital (Hampton, VA). We are looking for a self-starter with experience & success in cold calling and creating and delivering presentations.
The right candidate will have experience in direct business to business sales. We are looking for a person who can build new business and encourage long term orders. The key to success is gaining trust by consultative & supportive selling and closing deals in a very positive and effective way.
Duties include:
- Developing and maintaining direct relationships with clients and agencies while driving revenue and achieving monthly goals for TV and digital sales.
- Prospecting and closing new & incremental business and renewals.
- Prepare, schedule and deliver sales presentations for TV and digital campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work in Hampton Roads VA and Northeastern NC regions.
- Television and digital advertising sales experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in advertising & marketing is preferred.
