Job Summary:
- CBS19 News in Charlottesville‚ Virginia‚ is looking for a digital media editor with reliable news judgment and strong social media skills to join our news team.
- Responsibilities include writing and editing news stories for our web site and social media sites‚ editing video from newscasts to post online‚ and overseeing the station’s social media accounts.
- The successful candidate will need to work with a team of reporters and producers and find ways to best showcase the station’s content.
Requirements:
- Experience writing online news stories required.
- Degree in Journalism preferred.
- Candidates should be proficient in all forms of social media.
- Experience with digital video editing software is a plus.
