TV PHOTOJOURNALIST - WAVY TV-10
WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 has an opening for a TV Photojournalist to join our news staff. We shoot hard news with a creative, National Press Photographers Association standard of shooting and editing. We are looking for a candidate with a winning attitude, a good eye for shooting TV news and enjoys creative storytelling. We own a news helicopter (Chopper 10) and fly drones on a regular basis. Our Photojournalist shoot on full size Sony PXW-X320 cameras with wireless microphones, and we edit on Adobe Premiere Pro at the station and in the field.
Successful candidate will produce creative content for television, social media and wavy.com.
We are the #1 station in the Norfolk/VA Beach, VA market (#42); our coverage extends from Williamsburg/Eastern Shore of Virginia to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. 1-2 years of experience shooting TV news preferred and a good driving record required.
