Post-Filing License Renewal Announcement Must Air on Virginia Radio Stations.
Following the filing of license renewal applications by the June 3, 2019, deadline, Virginia radio stations must air post-filing announcements on the 1st and 16th of the month during June, July, and August. Depending on when your station files its license renewal application, you will need to commence these announcements on June 1 and no later than June 3. Consult the VAB’s radio renewal guide or your FCC counsel about the content and timing of these announcements.
