Political Advertising Lowest Unit Charge Window Opens for Primary
In 2018, Virginians will be electing members of Congress and many localities will be electing local representatives and officials. The primary election is scheduled for June 12, 2018. The LUC window for the June 12 primary election will open on April 28, 2018. Broadcasters should contact their local county board of elections for details. A complete list of county boards of election is available on the Virginia Department of Elections website at the following URL address: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/. The LUC rule does not apply to non-candidate third party political advertisers.
