First-Ever Annual Children’s Television Programming Report NOT Due.

As part of the 2019 overhaul of the children’s television programming rules, the FCC did away with quarterly children’s television programming report filings.  To satisfy the new, annual filing requirement, stations must file a children’s television programming report within 30 days of the end of the preceding calendar year (i.e., by January 30 each year).  On December 20, 2019, the FCC released a Public Notice that extends the initial filing deadline to March 30, 2020 (instead of January 30).
