Overview
The Interactive Creative Manager is responsible for the planning, creation, execution, and performance of website, digital and promotional content across multiple platforms for WAFX, WNOR, and associated brands. This role blends creative direction with hands-on execution, including graphic design, video production, and campaign management, ensuring consistent, engaging, and results-driven experiences across web, email, social, app, and streaming channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation, Design, Management & Execution
- Write, build, manage email campaigns for Hampton Roads Media Group & brands
- Schedule and publish social media, website, text content
- Design and produce digital graphics
- Create, edit, and publish video and photo content for digital platforms
- Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual standards across all channels
- Support app engagement through push notifications and texting campaigns
Websites, Contests & Digital Platforms
- Create and manage website content
- Create, schedule, and post contests, promotional pages, and event listings
Advertising & Promotions
- Design, create, and schedule digital banners in multiple sizes for station and client campaigns
- Coordinate and support Meta and YouTube ad campaigns, including creative development
- Collaborate with sales and clients on digital advertising assets
- Ensure all campaign creative aligns with station promotions and client objectives
Analytics & Reporting
- Pull, analyze, and report monthly performance metrics, including:
- Email database growth engagement
- Text messaging performance
- Streaming analytics
- Banner ad performance
- Paid social (Meta) and YouTube ad results
- Monitor trends and recommend optimizations based on performance data
- Track overall digital growth and audience engagment
Qualifications
- Experience in digital content creation, marketing, or interactive media
- Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for email and social platforms
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similiar)
- Experience with video and photo production/editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Experience with email marketing platforms and social scheduling tools
- Understanding of Google, Meta and other digital analytics
