Lockwood Broadcast Group is looking for an experienced Account Executive to manage and grow transactional business as well as focus on prospecting and closing new business for WSKY-TV & Lockwood Digital (Hampton, VA). We are looking for a self-starter with experience & success in cold calling and creating and delivering presentations.
The right candidate will have experience in direct business-to-business sales. We are looking for a person who can build new business and encourage long term orders. The key to success is gaining trust by consultative & supportive selling and closing deals in a very positive and effective way.
Duties include:
· Developing and maintaining direct relationships with clients and agencies while driving revenue and achieving monthly goals for TV and digital sales
· Prospecting and closing new & incremental business and renewals
· Prepare, schedule and deliver sales presentations for TV and digital campaigns
Qualifications:
· Must be willing to work in Hampton Roads VA and Northeastern NC regions
· Television and digital advertising sales experience is preferred
· A Bachelor's degree in advertising & marketing is preferred
Talent & Skills:
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented
· Strong communications skills
· Compelling negotiation and customer service skills
· Knowledge of MS Office and Wide Orbit Software is a plus
· Positive team player to help motivate others
