About the Role
Harrisonburg Media Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Advertising Operations Director (Traffic Director) to support advertising data flow across our portfolio of eight radio stations. This on-site position plays a critical role in ensuring commercial inventory is accurately scheduled, executed, and reported, supporting both revenue integrity and on-air broadcast excellence.
Responsibilities
· Manage commercial inventory and ensure contract compliance
· Schedule and maintain advertising media using Marketron Traffic and vCreative
· Prepare and verify daily on-air broadcast logs
· Coordinate with Sales and Programming teams to resolve scheduling issues
· Generate post-run reports for billing and reconciliation
· Handle last-minute changes with accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
· Previous experience in radio traffic, media scheduling, or a related administrative operations role involving information and workflow coordination is preferred.
· Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven office environment.
· Familiarity with Marketron Traffic and vCreative software would be a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Collaborative, dependable, and solution-oriented work style.
· Ability to work on-site at the Harrisonburg Media Group office.
