SUMMARY:TV Station and MVPD Carriage Election Deadline.
DESCRIPTION:Television broadcasters generally must triennially give notice 
 as to whether they are electing mandatory carriage or instead retransmissi
 on consent.  This election also must be filed in the broadcaster’s onli
 ne public file.  Because the FCC adopted new rules in 2019\, broadcasters
  will now email elections to MVPDs (with a carbon copy to ElectionNotices@
 FCC.gov) and only need do so when changing a carriage election from the pr
 evious cycle.
